The Knot Rocks Denver

May 25, 2016

Last week I had the pleasure of attending The Knot‘s Denver Party at the Botanical Gardens downtown.  The gardens are absolutely beautiful (and a fantastic wedding venue!) and it was great to represent Chancey Charm and catch up with some of my favorite wedding vendors in the industry.  As I mentioned in Monday’s post, Breeana from Alchemy Beauty treated me to an AH-mazing mobile airbrush tan for this event.  It was so much fun getting all dolled up and have a pretty glow to match!  I opted for a a black summer dress with some trendy nude heels.

I snapped the photo above right before I left and then was off to the party!  When I arrived, I immediately bumped into some of my favorite “friendors” from up in Fort Collins – such a great group of ladies!  We wandered around and checked out the beautiful scenery and decor, before hitting the bar for some rosé of course!

I wish I would have snapped a few more pictures, but truthfully there were so many people around that I spent more time mingling and forgot to take more photos while it was still light out!  C’est la vie… 🙂

Overall it was a great event, and I loved hanging with two of my favorite stylish ladies – Moriah of Wildflower Cakes and Emily of Emily Sacco Photography.  Networking can sometimes be super intimidating, but events like these make great practice – especially when you know a couple people who can also introduce you to others!

Bridal Inspiration: Rehearsal Dinner Outfits

May 11, 2016

While choosing the perfect wedding dress is one of the most exciting moments for a bride, I’ve recently become enamored with all of the flirty and trendy options for the night before the wedding – the dress rehearsal dinner.  Since this is the bride’s last night as a single girl and she’s typically with her closest friends and family, this is the night to wear something that’s still bridal but a bit more fun!  BHLDN (Anthropologie’s bridal line) recently debuted some amazing new reception and rehearsal dinner options.  Even though BHLDN can do no wrong (I seriously love everything!), here are 10 of my favorite current outfits…

What will you or did you wear to your rehearsal dinner?  Did you dress up or opt for something more comfortable and casual?  Comment below!

Yours {The Love Song Playlist}

Today marks the start of wedding season for me – yay!  I’m heading down to Colorado Springs this afternoon to kick off the weekend with the dress rehearsal for my lovely couple, Jacqui and Zach.  As we’ve been nailing down the final details for this week, one thing that I love seeing is the music that the couple has selected for their ceremony and reception.  Whatever they choose, whether it be a DJ, rock band, or string quartet, the song selection has such a big influence on the tone and mood of the wedding day.

In honor of the many wonderful weddings to come this season, I’ve put together a playlist of my favorite love songs.  Cheers to Jacqui and Zach, and all the other happy couples tying the knot this year!

What’s your favorite love song?  What songs would you just HAVE to play on your wedding day?
